Cuxhaven/Lombardy, October 2020 – As the Italian egg market is requesting superior egg quality in terms of weight, shell strength and overall results, a new H&N distributor, founded in 2019, kicks off to rock the market. The management of H&N Italia is entrusted to Alberto Dall’Angelo, veterinarian, who is responsible for the commercial and technical aspects. The hatchery, on the other hand, is a plant located in Lombardy, in northern Italy. The first parent stock have just arrived and are now settling in.

“Better egg quality was one thing our customer wants and choose H&N International birds over other breeds”, explains Leon Schouren, layer and cage free expert responsible for the European markets in H&N Internationals global technical team.

“The other characteristic that is of crucial importance to our new customer, is the behavior of birds.” H&N International welcomes H&N Italy in the group and looks very much forward to supporting the new “Chicken Citta” in breeding superior layers.”
