H&N International welcomes VELACSA as new distributor of H&N Day-old-Layers (DOL)
Abangasca Sur, Leon/Cuxhaven, 25.05.2023 – Their powerful profit model took off with pigs, now VELACSA offers yet more protein-value creation as they received H&N parent stock for the first time. VELACSA will be selling H&N Super Nick Day-old-Layers (DOL) to layer farmers in Nicaragua. Located north of Leon, VELACSA runs two farm areas. The company works to provide comprehensive solutions to all branches of the local agribusiness in Nicaragua. Their company logos on their own Facebook site show a sunny farm complete with feed container and pigs, overshadowed by a massive, towering boar in dark colors: “We first bred pigs”, says Juan Pablo Velazquez, “but we never limited ourselves. From early on we investigated ways to diversifying our portfolio to establish ourselves as a modern multi-tiered company providing more than animals but entire solutions to our customer base!” H&N Super Nick was chosen because VELACSA looked for a premium breed to work as a mass layer of white eggs with highest egg mass. “We are very happy to partner with VELACSA and support their strong market position further!” says veterinary Dr. Ronald Trenchi, H&N Internationals technical specialist and key account manager for Latin America.
