H&N with its headquarters in Germany is a subsidiary of EW Group GmbH. The company distributes H&N layer breeding stock in 35 countries around the world. H&N layers are strongly competitive in all economically significant flock performance and egg quality parameters. H&N layers will now be readily available from coast to coast in the United States. Merrill’s Poultry Farm Inc. is a family owned hatchery business based in Paul, Idaho. The company was founded in 1924 and has been a prominent supplier of layer chicks in the western U. S. A. for over 90 years. Merrill’s has the capacity to produce 7.0 million layer chicks per year.
